CES 2019

The most important event in terms of technology and innovation was concluded last week in Las Vegas with great success.

During the consumer electronics fair, all the trends of next year were presented including 8K televisions, flexible displays, hole displays, 10-nanometer hardware and 3d chips with stackable components, latest generation technologies ready to be placed on the market.

State of the art consumer electronics can be said to already live in the future where undisputed protagonists are computing wearable devices for augmented reality and virtual reality, drones and photovoltaic trees, folding smartphones, rollable screens space saving that will mark the trend for the year just begun, designed to optimize space and enhance its efficiency.

Italy

Representing Italy, there have been 44 Italian digital startups selected to take part in the most important hi-tech world fair in Las Vegas.

From the folding electric skateboard to the AI systems to increase the safety of cyclists, the innovative projects Made in Italy have been truly countless and have attracted the great interest of the public that required more information and demos.

The solutions proposed by the most innovative Italian companies range from the wireless sensor to monitor the environmental conditions of plants to the tree that improves the natural ecosystem, to the platform to develop applications, catalogs and interactive 3D presentations, to the ultra-technological wine dispenser capable to trace changes in temperature and movement of the wine from the cellar to the glass, in order to guarantee a product that is always excellent and more sustainable than glass, to solutions to prevent and fight the counterfeiting of food and wine products or fashion and to the automatic irrigation, able to analyze the climate, soil moisture or the first Italian food trading platform, which puts manufacturers and buyers in contact all over the world.

Among the Italian companies present at CES, our company has also met the public’s interest and on the occasion, we met the Italian ambassador in USA Armando Varricchio who declared: “It is important that companies get the support of local authorities, regions, and ICE agency. My presence here wants to pay great attention to the institutions and the government because we realize that to be present in the big markets we need to support the work of our companies. Here there are many young entrepreneurs, we want to grow not only in number but in size, this is certainly an opportunity for everyone “.

Once again, the CES proved to be the world-class Hi-Tech event worth participating in.
