What #Geckode26 Is
#Geckode26 is an initiative designed to turn ideas into concrete solutions and, above all, to foster an XR community that continues to grow beyond the event itself, strengthening the dialogue between research, industry, and education.
Multidisciplinary teams will work on XR applications focused on real-world, professional, and educational use cases, with particular attention to industrial contexts such as training and simulation, maintenance, operational support, and workplace safety, as well as university environments such as laboratories and education.
During the hackathon, participants will be able to develop and test immersive solutions on Leonardo XR, the headset developed by Youbiquo for industrial, educational, and collaborative applications, at the core of the European XR ecosystem the company is building.
Vision
To build a stable community of developers, designers, researchers, and professionals working on XR with a practical approach, sharing expertise and creating useful solutions for industry and education.
#Geckode is the first edition of a project that we aim to make ongoing.
